Workforce Skills Support offers support with the application process of card schemes.
CSCS Blue Skilled Worker
CSCS Cards
CSCS is the Construction Skills Certification Scheme and is a Construction Qualification Card Scheme that aims to provide workers with an ID that they can use to show their competence on construction sites.

NPORS Cards
Candidates must be profiled by an Approved NPORS Training Provider. Depending on the outcome, the candidate will be recommended for Experience Worker Test or a Novice course which will conclude with training and or testing.

CPCS Cards
When you have completed your NVQ or other vocational qualification you will be eligible to upgrade your CPCS card to the Blue Competent Operator Card. You will have 12 months to do this and the application process is straightforward.

CCDO Cards
Depending on which CCDO cards you require, different requirements must be met. This could include valid qualifications or certificates from an accredited qualification scheme, a pass in Operative or Higher CITB health, safety & environment test and much more.

Workforce Skills Support has approved learning provider status in the
Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme
As members of the British Covenant and partner with Forces Transition Group we are fully committed to support all of the Forces community whilst going through re-settlement and thereafter, after making the transition within civilian life.

Our mission is to support you in achieving the specific NVQ qualification to then apply for the relevant CSCS card ( Level 3 up to Level 7). We can also offer all elements of training from Health and Safety Awareness, SSSTS, SMSTS and Temporary Works through our accreditation with CITB and also NPORS / CPCPS for all Plant Operations. The MOD’s Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. The scheme provides financial support in the form of a single up-front payment in each of a maximum of three separate financial years. You are reminded that ELC funding is only available for pursuit of higher level learning i.e. for courses that result solely in a nationally recognised qualification at Level three or above on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) (England, Northern Ireland and Wales), a Level six or above on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) or, if pursued overseas, an approved international equivalent qualification with an approved learning provider.

Photographic ID Guidance
Any delegate who is undertaking an NVQ, Core Construction training or Site Safety Plus course must provide a piece of photographic ID to the training provider/trainer.

Below is a list of current acceptable photographic ID that awarding organisations will accept from the delegate to confirm their identity.
