Construction Qualifications

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) supports the skills needs of the British Construction Sector. At Workforce Skills Support we engage with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) to ensure construction employers have access to high quality training through our CITB Approved Training Organisation status / Site Safety Plus accreditation and NVQ delivery through our Awarding Bodies that tie into the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and its related partner card schemes.

As a CITB Approved Training Organisation we are recognised by the CITB as well as the British construction Industry as a training provider who can deliver good quality training that meets industry standards.  It is a way for industry, employers and individuals to ensure the workforce is appropriately qualified and plays a major part in improving standards and Safety on our UK construction site. Our ATO approved courses can be found under Core Construction Training

We offer onsite assessment nationwide for experienced operatives, skilled workers, managers and Supervisors. The assessments help experienced construction workers demonstrate existing skills, knowledge and experience against the national recognised standards.

Our construction NVQ’s tie into the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card scheme allowing employers and learners to apply for their CSCS cards.

If you are unsure of what card is suitable for your occupation please contact Workforce Skills Support for further information on Construction Qualifications.
