What is the CSCS Gold Supervisor Card?
The CSCS Gold Supervisor Card is a card for those working in a supervisory role. It provides candidates with a way to display their competence in the Level 3-4 NVQ or SVQ they have undertaken.
How do you get a CSCS Gold Supervisor Card?
In order to apply for this card, candidates must have an in date Supervisors CITB health, safety & environment test, candidates must also have either a construction related level 3-4 Supervisory/Technical NVQ or SVQ or the Level 3 Occupational Work Supervision NVQ or SVQ. including proof of endorsed occupation.

The test required for the CSCS gold card is the CITB Supervisors Health, Safety & Environment test, this must be in date.
Do I need CSCS if I have SSSTS?
Yes, however CSCS and SSSTS are different. CSCS cards are to prove a candidate’s competence in their area of work in the construction industry allowing them access to sites whereas SSSTS (Site Safety Safety Training Scheme) is the standard training for site supervisors that work on Build UK Construction Sites.
How do you renew the CSCS Gold Supervisor Card?
To renew the CSCS Gold Supervisor Card candidates need to pay £36 and have an in date pass in the Supervisors CITB health, safety & environment test.
