How are we reducing the risk to health from COVID-19?
Workforce skills Support (WSS) are committed to playing our part in reducing the risk to health from COVID-19, for our employees, clients, and individuals as our top priority.
We continue to monitor the current situation daily and follow governmental guidelines to implement safe working practices through our ongoing support to our staff and clients, we have also identified that as we go through this pandemic and it is a major concern for all we must not neglect the safety of individuals, and some essential training will be necessary in high risk working environments such as the construction sector.
Workforce Skills Support are able to offer support through Remote (online) courses to maintain the social distancing guidelines, we have also set out strict operating procedures for face to face training and assessments that may need to be carried out as part of essential works and due to practical requirements can’t be conducted remotely, under these circumstances each case will be assessed through consultation with one of our health and safety professionals, whether the training would be safe to take place whilst still complying with government standards.
